brown-skinned and dry-skinned

I'm probably the last person to be giving any sort of skin/beauty advice considering that ever since I turned 25, my chin has become the hot bed for giant zits and they like to come out and party all at once. I also have extremely dry skin on my face especially near my hair line. Mindy Kaling (Kelly from the Office) once wrote about having dry skin and she said that brown people typically have drier skin than white people. I believe her because she's famous and she wrote it on the Internet. I'm brown and I have dry skin so I want to share this product with other dry skinned people.
CVS' Vitamin E Moisturizing Skin Cream is the only cream that has worked for me. This stuff is very thick and super dense. A little goes a long way.

I recommend using the cream at night after your daily skin regimen. You'll wake up with a moist face.. no dry skin flaking off like you've just gotten over a really bad sunburn.

  1. Are you sure this product isn't the reason for your zit party? I can't use this on my face because I break out like an 80's dance troupe.

I have super dry skin too and I'm probably the whitest person you'll ever meet (take that MK!). I use Hope in a Jar by Philosophy. Oprah was right about that one.

  2. I bought some cosmetics recommended by Mindy once...not knowing they were specifically for women with dark skin until I received them in the mail.

I bet you are even MORE excited that you got that CVS gift card for xmas!
